Lawson makes the grade

Future Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson got some good news Wednesday.  Shaq gave TheClemsonInsider.com the news.

“I got the grades I need to qualify,” said Lawson.

How does it feel to know your dream will now come true?

“It feels good.  I can’t wait to get to Clemson,” replied Lawson.

Shaq isn’t yet sure when he will move into his apartment.

“I don’t know yet.  It depends on when I get cleared by Clemson,” said Lawson.

Thursday Shaq will leave Hargrave Academy for the final time.

“I am heading home tomorrow,” said Lawson.

Shaq’s mother couldn’t control her emotions when she got the good news.

“My mom started crying,” said Lawson.

What was the reaction of the Clemson coaches?

“They told me congratulations.  They can’t wait for me to get on campus,” replied Lawson.
