Player spotlight: Maverick Morris

While there is plenty of information circling about the start of the 2016 football season and No. 2 Clemson’s kickoff at Auburn, The Clemson Insider decided to switch it up and dig a bit deeper into the dynamic personalities of Clemson’s student athletes.

In this edition we get to know offensive lineman Maverick Morris a little bit more. Morris is entering his redshirt junior year and has spent time at both guard and tackle.

What is your favorite color?

“Blue.”

What food can you not live without?

“Any of them.”

What is your favorite movie?

“I honestly find something good about every movie I watch. I find something good about every movie I believe.”

If you could only binge watch 1 show on Netflix for the rest of your life, what would it be?

“Lost.”

 “Go to the pool.”

“Hm I don’t know. I am me, I am not my friend but I would say funny.”

Who is your favorite celebrity?

“Tom Brady.”

If you could choose a walk-out song, what would it be?

“I never played baseball, but oh the theme song of Top Gun! Danger Zone.”

If I didn’t play football, I would play…

“Golf.”

Do you have any hidden talents?

“No.”

You can’t sing or dance?

“Yeah, but that’s not hidden, everyone knows that!”

What is something that someone would be surprised to know about you?

 “I don’t know…I have no clue absolutely no clue.”
