Clemson visit was 'perfect' for Georgia corner

Winder (Ga.) Winder-Barrow cornerback Tyler Banks was one of the prospects who visited Clemson on Saturday for the game against South Carolina State.

Banks gave the visit good reviews.

“It was great,” Banks told The Clemson Insider. “Love the atmosphere.”

What did Banks think of Clemson’s 59-0 win?

“They played a great game,” Banks said. “The stadium and all the fans, it was just perfect.”

Banks especially enjoyed one part of his experience at Clemson.

“Going into the locker room was the highlight of the day for me,” he said.

Banks was also able to chat with Clemson defensive backs coach Mike Reed for a little bit.

“Just normal conversation about football,” Banks said, “and my last game.”

Banks is receiving interest from a number of schools, including Arizona, BYU and Purdue.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound senior has visited multiple schools so far this season, with his favorites being Georgia Tech, Clemson and Princeton. Banks is looking to visit Auburn and South Carolina at some point moving forward.
