Clemson finishes first half strong

After adding two points on one of the strangest safeties you’ll see, Clemson received the ball again and finished the first half the way it started it — with a touchdown. Watson completed a 9-yard pass to a wide-open Jordan Leggett in the end zone to give Clemson a 23-0 advantage at halftime.

The touchdown connection capped a 10-play, 72-yard drive that lasted 1:49. Watson went 6-of-8 for 84 yards on the series.
