Clemson opens the scoring

Clemson received the opening kickoff and drove down the field for the first score of the game. Deshaun Watson lofted a 4-yard touchdown pass to Mike Williams in the corner of the end zone to give the Tigers a 7-0 lead.

It was a nine-play, 75-yard drive that lasted 3:35. A 17-yard rush and a 17-yard reception by Ray-Ray McCloud helped Clemson move the sticks and enter into scoring territory.
