Tigers extend their lead

Clemson took a two-score lead against Georgia Tech late in the first quarter on a 1-yard touchdown run by Wayne Gallman at the 2:26 mark.

The drive spanned eight plays and 62 yards in 2:43. A 25-yard pass from Deshaun Watson to Trevion Thompson on second-and-7 moved Clemson to the goal line and set up Gallman’s plunge into the end zone.
