Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables sat down with the media on Tuesday afternoon to discuss Saturday’s ACC Showdown between No. 3 Clemson and No. 4 Louisville in Death Valley.
Venables has the task of having to game plan for Louisville’s high-flying offense and quarterback Lamar Jackson. The Cardinals are averaging 63.5 points per game coming in and nearly 700 yards of total offense per game.
Jackson, the front runner to win the Heisman Trophy after the first month, has been destroying offenses as he has totaled 1,856 yards, including 1,330 through the air. He has 25 total touchdowns, which leads the country. He also leads the nation with 12 rushing touchdowns.
