Carter says defense needs to focus

Clemson defensive back Ryan Carter knows the defense did not play its best game in this past Saturday’s loss to Pittsburgh.

The junior says they can fix their mistakes, but they need to get back to work and focus more on what they are doing.

“I think we have to get in the film room and look over the things that we can correct,” Carter said. “We definitely did not play our best football on Saturday as far as the defense goes. I just feel like they are definitely easy things we can correct. It is going to take complete focus this week, regroup and get back to the basics.

“I just feel like if we can lock in this week and focus on what we need to do, then we will be back defensively.”
