Lawrence: I was close

Clemson defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence blocked two kicks last Saturday and almost got the final kick that won the game for Pitt.

Lawrence said earlier this week “I was close” on the final kick. The true freshman looks forward to playing his first game back in North Carolina as a Tiger on Saturday night when Clemson visits Wake Forest for a 7 p.m. kick.
