Watson throws his fifth touchdown of the game


Deshaun Watson scored his fifth touchdown of the game, hitting running back C.J. Fuller for an 18-yard touchdown, putting Clemson up 42-0 with 12:44 left in the third quarter.

Watson is now the first quarterback in Clemson history to throw for five touchdown passes in one game against South Carolina.

Wayne Gallman ran for 30 yards on three carries during the drive, giving him 112 yards and a touchdown on the night. He now has rushed for over 100 yards in 17 games throughout his career.

Clemson’s drive was six plays for 66 yards in 2:16.
