TCI Hitter-of-the Week              #26 Reed Rohlman

The redshirt junior outfielder from Moore, SC went 8-for-19 (.421) in four games last week. Rohlman had two doubles, a triple, four runs, and a walk with a .450 on-base percentage and a .632 slugging percentage.

The junior lefty from Sumter, SC had one of his best outings as a Tiger despite suffering a tough luck loss to the Gamecocks on Friday night. In 7.1 innings, Barnes allowed two runs (both unearned) on only three hits (.125 OBA) with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Weekend Notes:

Clemson, ranked as high as #9 in the country, beat Wofford at home in midweek action before taking two of three games from #4 South Carolina in the team’s annual rivalry weekend. The Tigers outscored their opponents 22-14 while outhitting the opposition .266 (37 hits) to .219 (30 hits). On the week, Clemson had eight doubles, two triples, four homers, 27 walks, and three HBPs against 34 strikeouts while going 7-8 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff finished the week with a 2.37 ERA, allowing 14 runs (10 earned) in 38.0 innings with 15 walks against 34 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .957 clip, committing seven errors in 162 chances.
