GREENVILLE — Clemson’s Seth Beer hit a grand slam Wednesday night in the top of the fifth inning as the ninth-ranked Tigers carried the momentum from the series win over South Carolina and whipped Michigan State 9-2 at Fluor Field in Greenville.

Chris Williams also drove in two runs on two hits, while Weston Jackson had two hits and scored a run. Tyler Jackson earned his second straight win on the mound for Clemson, who improved to 9-3 overall with the victory.
