Clemson regains two-run lead in sixth

After Notre Dame cut its deficit to 2-1 in the top of the sixth inning, Clemson answered with a run of its own in the bottom half to make the score 3-1.

Andrew Cox and Weston Jackson led off the inning with back-to-back walks before moving to second and third, respectively, on a sacrifice bunt by Grayson Byrd. After Jackson advanced to third on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Patrick Cromwell, Jackson scored on a double steal with Cromwell.
