Tigers regain the lead

The Irish rallied to tie the game in the top of the fifth inning at five, but Clemson was able to take back the lead with one run in the bottom of the inning when Chase Pinder brought Weston Jackson home to give the Tigers a 6-5 lead.

Pinder hit a deep fly ball with the bases loaded to score Jackson. The Tigers loaded the bases with three straight walks.
