What they are saying: Deshaun Watson, Manning Award, NFL Draft

Thursday night was a big night for former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson as he was presented the Manning Award as the nation’s best quarterback for a second straight year.

Watson flew down to New Orleans on Thursday, along with Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney and quarterbacks coach Brandon Streeter, to accept the award from former New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning. Watson is the first two-time winner of the Manning Award.

Earlier in the day, Watson had a private workout for the Cleveland Browns, who have the No. 1 and No. 12 overall picks in next month’s NFL Draft.

Here is what is being said about Watson after he accepted the Manning Award and about him in the upcoming NFL Draft.
