Lee: “It’s on me as a coach”

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Clemson Insider caught up with Clemson head coach Monte Lee following the fourth-ranked Tigers’ 7-3 loss to No. 25 Florida State on Sunday.

Lee credited Florida State’s starter Tyler Holten for pitching a great game. Lee took the blame for his team’s struggle with Holten.

“He has a plus changeup and our right handed hitters just couldn’t lay off of it,” the Clemson coach said. “It’s on me as a coach. I need to make sure to try to communicate a better game plan.”
