Tigers explode in the fourth inning to take the lead

After getting nothing for the first three innings, No. 3 Clemson brought 11 batters to the plate in the fourth inning and scored six runs on four hits and one error in grabbing a 6-1 lead on Georgia.

After Reed Rohlman single and Seth Beer drew a walk, Chris Williams doubled to left field to bring both runs home for a 2-1 lead.

Andrew Cox doubled to left field as well to drive in two more runs for a 4-1 lead. Jordan Greene later followed with a single through the right side to score Robert Jolly who had walked earlier in the inning. Grayson Byrd plated Greene a few plays later with a grounder to short for a 6-1 lead.
