Beer gets Tigers out to early lead

Clemson right fielder Seth Beer hit a double over Wake Forest first baseman Gavin Sheets’ outstretched hand to score two runs.

The Tigers started the inning with back-to-back hits from Chase Pinder and Reed Rohlman and then a walk from Logan Davidson. Beer then dropped his double into right field with no outs to score Pinder and Rohlman.

Chris Williams then hit a deep sac fly to centerfield to score Davidson and Andrew Cox did the same thing to score Beer as the Tigers took a 4-0 lead after one inning of play.
