2018 DB names Clemson among top schools

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard 2018 three-star cornerback Stanley Garner named Clemson among his top 11 schools Saturday night along with Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, South Carolina and Tennessee.

“First off, I want to thank God for his many blessings that he has brought upon me,” Garner wrote in a Twitter post. “I also want to thank my beautiful mother for raising me to be the best that I can be and also my coaches for being there for me when I needed a father figure. I am proud to announce my top 11.”

Along with his top 10, Garner (6-3, 180) has offers from Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan, Mississippi State, Oregon State, Syracuse and West Virginia among others.

Clemson offered Garner last June following his performance at the Dabo Swinney Camp.
