Clemson in top group for elite Texas TE

Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point 2018 four-star tight end Mustapha Muhammad released his top 10 schools Wednesday night and included Clemson.

Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA and USC also made the cut for Muhammad, who has more than 30 offers.

Clemson offered Muhammad in April 2016, and he visited Clemson for the first time in January.

Along with the aforementioned schools, Muhammad has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Nebraska, Penn State and Tennessee among others.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder is ranked by ESPN as the No. 2 tight end and No. 46 overall prospect in the 2018 class.
