Clemson is ‘dream school’ for newly offered Florida DE

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard 2019 defensive end Braylen Ingraham has picked up a handful of offers from high-profile programs this week, including one from Clemson.

“That offer meant a lot to me,” Ingraham told The Clemson Insider. “Clemson is my dream school so I was really honored that they believe I can play on their level.”

After receiving offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan and Ohio State earlier in the week, Ingraham was in class on Thursday when his coach sent him a text message to inform him of the offer from the Tigers.

“The environment seems really nice,” Ingraham said of what he likes about Clemson. “They have a great education program and I love watching the football players and how they play.”

Ingraham (6-4, 250) plans to visit Clemson after adding the offer.

“I haven’t visited Clemson before but I will sometime this summer,” he said.

Along with the aforementioned schools, Ingraham possesses offers from Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon and Wisconsin among others.

Ingraham doesn’t claim any early leaders or currently have a timeframe for his commitment decision in the future.

He will look closely at academics and the chance for early playing time when he makes his choice.

“The education,” Ingraham said, “and how soon I’ll be able to get on the field.”
