Dabo Swinney: ‘I Have Stood on the Shoulders of Giants’

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney accepted the MacArthur Bowl, the National Football Foundation’s national championship trophy, on Thursday in Atlanta at the College Football Hall of Fame.

The award ceremony marks the official unveiling of the trophy with Clemson’s name permanently etched on the fabled archways of the historic trophy. The National Football Foundation recognized the Tigers as the national champions of college football following their 35-31 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide on Jan. 9.

During the ceremony, Swinney attributed his success to the influence of many coaching “giants” and counselors in his life.
