Lee: ‘We could not put together any sort of inning offensively’

Clemson head coach Monte Lee gave Vanderbilt plenty of praise after they defeated his Tigers 9-4 on Saturday in the winners’ bracket game of the Clemson Regional.

Lee credited Vandy pitcher Kyle Wright for keeping his team from putting anything together offensively.

Clemson was 2-for-11 with runners in scoring position, while the Commodores were 8-for-19, including 8-for-17 with two outs.
