Tigers offer 4-star DL

Clemson has offered Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren 2019 four-star defensive tackle Jacob Lacey.

Lacey (6-2, 300) is competing at the first session of the Dabo Swinney Camp, which began Tuesday.

He previously visited for Clemson’s junior day in March and attended the Louisville game last season, as well. Clemson defensive line coach Todd Bates also visited his school during the spring evaluation period.

“First you must start with coach Swinney,” Lacey said of Clemson in a recent interview with TCI. “When I was there earlier this year, his speech and story was awesome. Then the facilities are second to none. I met and talked with coach (Brent) Venables. I love his defense.”

Lacey also has offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt another others.
