4-star DB names Clemson among finalists

Philadelphia (Pa.) Imhotep Institute four-star safety Isheem Young named Clemson one of the six finalists in his recruitment on Friday night via Twitter.

Alabama, Maryland, Ohio State, Penn State and West Virginia also made the final cut for Young, who said he will announce his decision on July 18.

Clemson offered Young (5-10, 200) in January. In March, he announced a top 12 of Alabama, Baylor, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Temple and West Virginia.

He is ranked by ESPN as the No. 14 safety and No. 168 overall prospect in the 2018 class.
