Clemson offers 4-star lineman

Clemson has offered Belleville (Mich.) four-star 2019 offensive lineman Devontae Dobbs, he said on social media Friday.

Dobbs (6-4, 270), who is ranked as the top offensive tackle and a top-10 overall prospect in his class per 247Sports, is visiting Clemson this weekend.

He also has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee and UCLA among others.

Dobbs visited Clemson for its game against Louisville last October and raved about the experience in a recent interview with The Clemson Insider.

“I had a great experience last year when I came down there for the Clemson-Louisville game,” he said. “It was the best and loudest crowd I ever experienced in my life. I love the atmosphere, and the people were really nice.”
