Clemson offers Virginia Tech commit

Roebuck (S.C.) Dorman three-star offensive tackle Jordan McFadden received an offer from Clemson on Tuesday, The Clemson Insider confirmed.

“They offered me,” he said. “I was excited about it.”

McFadden, a member of the 2018 recruiting class, committed to Virginia Tech on July 4.

Along with the Tigers and Hokies, McFadden (6-5, 280) lists offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Michigan State, Mississippi State, North Carolina, N.C. State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia and Wake Forest.

McFadden, who has been on Clemson’s radar for a while, competed at the Dabo Swinney Camp last summer and visited for the Syracuse and South Carolina games last season.

As a junior last season, he posted 20 pancake blocks.
