Four-star linebacker Shammond Cooper and four-star athlete Isaiah Williams announced on social media that they have received offers from Clemson. Both are prospects in the class of 2019 from Trinity Catholic in Saint Louis, Mo.
Cooper (6-1, 190) also has offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Iowa, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Michigan State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Wisconsin among others.
Williams (5-10, 160) owns offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Iowa, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, South Carolina, Stanford, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, Wisconsin, and others.
As a sophomore last season, Cooper recorded 141 tackles, including seven tackles for loss, along with four sacks and an interception.
Williams, meanwhile, threw for more than 4,000 yards and 44 touchdowns while rushing for nearly 1,500 yards and 25 more scores. He also had a pair of interceptions on defense.
