Covington (Ga.) Newton defensive tackle Darnell Jefferies has signed his Financial Aid Agreement with Clemson.
“Glad to have signed it and looking forward to the next chapter of life,” Jefferies told The Clemson Insider.
Jefferies committed to Clemson in June before the second session of the Dabo Swinney Camp, choosing the Tigers over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State and South Carolina among others.
Jefferies will enroll early at Clemson in January.
Cartersville (Ga.) quarterback Trevor Lawrence, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy teammates Mike Jones and Xavier Thomas, and Seneca (S.C.) tight end Braden Galloway have also signed their FAAs with Clemson.
