Elite tight end sets Clemson official visit

Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point four-star tight end Mustapha Muhammad told The Clemson Insider he will take an official visit to Clemson on Nov. 11, when the Tigers host Florida State.

Muhammad, who has more than 30 offers, named a top 10 of Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA and USC in May. He said he plans to further narrow the field next week.

Muhammad (6-4, 235) received an offer from Clemson in April 2016 and visited Clemson in January for its junior day.

He is ranked by ESPN as the nation’s No. 3 tight end and a top-50 overall prospect in the 2018 class.
