Rhodes joins the TCI staff

The Clemson Insider is thrilled to announce Lindsey Rhodes has joined our staff as an intern to help with writing and social media assignments.

Rhodes is a senior at USC Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C., where she is studying communications with a concentration in mass media.

“We are very excited to bring Lindsey on as a writer at TCI,” said Publisher Robert MacRae. “She brings some experience covering Division I college athletics and she has a passion for sports. She also has a passion for Clemson and Clemson sports, so we feel she is going to do a great job for us.”

Along with working at TCI, Rhodes is a web intern for the communications department at Upstate and she covers Spartan athletic events for The Carolinian, the student newspaper.

During her junior year, she was involved with the Shoestring Players on campus, a group of Theatre students who put on four main-stage productions a year.

Rhodes grew up a Clemson fan in Liberty, S.C., and her father, Brad, is a Captain for the Clemson University Police Department. She has attended Clemson athletic events since she was a child and some of her fondest memories were made with her family at athletic events.

“I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity and am looking forward to bringing an inside look to Clemson athletics to all of you,” Rhodes said.
