Reid commits to Clemson

Clemson head coach Monte Lee and the Tigers have landed a commitment from a local standout.

Class of 2019 infielder Regan Reid from nearby Anderson (S.C.) T.L. Hanna High School gave his commitment to Clemson on Monday.

Reid is a bit of a sleeper prospect, though he has recently drawn interest from a number of in-state programs.

In late May, Reid was named to the 5A All-Diamond Prospects Team.

Reid (5-8, 165) plays summer ball for the Dirtbags, a team based out of Sedalia, N.C.
