Clemson led Kent State by a score of 28-3 at halftime of the two teams’ season opener in Death Valley on Saturday.
Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant completed 14-of-20 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing an interception. He ran for 77 yards and a touchdown on seven carries, as well, as the Tigers’ offense racked up 326 total yards of offense. Clemson’s defense, meanwhile, allowed just 54 total yards, had two tackles for loss and held the Golden Flashes to a 2-of-8 clip on third down.
