Clemson strikes first against Louisville

Second-ranked Clemson struck first against No. 14 Louisville on Saturday at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on an eight-yard touchdown run by Kelly Bryant with 9:45 remaining in the first quarter. A 40-yard strike from Bryant to Hunter Renfrow set up the Tigers at the Cardinals’ 20-yard line, and they took advantage for a 7-0 lead.

It was a 10-play, 79-yard drive that lasted 3:55. Bryant completed all four of his passing attempts for 53 yards and rushed twice for 11 yards including the scoring scamper. C.J. Fuller had 15 yards on four carries.
