Alabama commit receives offer from Clemson

Clemson has offered Trussville (Ala.) Hewitt-Trussville 2019 four-star offensive tackle Pierce Quick, he announced via Twitter on Friday.

Quick, who committed to Alabama in April, also has offers from Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan and Tennessee among others.

Quick (6-5, 277) visited Clemson for its junior day in March. Members of Clemson staff returned the favor with a visit to his school during the spring evaluation period in April.

Clemson defensive line coach Todd Bates gave Quick his first offer in June 2016 when he was the defensive line coach at Jacksonville State.

Quick is ranked by the major recruiting services as a consensus top-10 offensive tackle and top-100 overall prospect in the 2019 class.
