BLACKSBURG, Va. — Second-ranked Clemson continued to quiet the crowd at Lane Stadium as it took control of the game against No. 12 Virginia Tech early in the second half. A 1-yard touchdown run by Tavien Feaster made the score 24-3 in favor of the Tigers at the 7:12 mark of the third quarter.
Kelly Bryant’s 24-yard run on third-and-1 from Virginia Tech’s 30 set Clemson up at the goal line before Feaster punched it in.
The Tigers started the 10-play, 51-yard drive at its own 49-yard line thanks to linebacker Dorian O’Daniel, who forced and recovered a Travon McMillian fumble on the Hokies’ previous possession.
