Tour of Champions: Dorman coach on Clemson target Jordan McFadden

The Clemson Insider’s Tour of Champions series continued on Friday night with a visit to Dorman High School to see 2018 offensive lineman Jordan McFadden.

McFadden, who committed to Virginia Tech in July, is weighing his options after receiving an offer from Clemson in early August. He visited Clemson for the Auburn and Boston College games in September before visiting Virginia Tech for its game against Clemson last weekend.

Watching McFadden, it was easy to see why the Tigers offered. The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder showed off his versatility by playing both left and right tackle in Dorman’s 42-35 win against Gaffney. It was an all-around solid performance for the in-state standout as he executed his assignments in both pass protection and the run game.

After the game, TCI went one-one-one with longtime Dorman head coach Dave Gutshall, who spoke about what McFadden brings to the table both on and off the field, and more. Watch our interview with Gutshall on TCITV:
