Clemson defensive end Austin Bryant says the seventh-ranked Tigers are just fine following last week’s stunning loss to Syracuse.
“We went to bed on Friday night and when we woke up the sun came up and everything was just fine,” he said with a big grin. “It’s a long season and that was just a bump in the road. It was a great learning experience.”
Syracuse was more the just a bump. Clemson could not get over the Orange, especially the defense which struggled all night to slow them down. The Tigers gave up a season high in rushing yards (162), total yards (440) and points (27).
“Prosperity is a terrible teacher, but now we have a little adversity so now it is about how we respond and how we finish the rest of the season.” Bryant said.
