Clemson running back Travis Etienne continues to get better during his freshman season.
On Saturday, the Jennings, La., native led the fourth-ranked Tigers once again, rushing for 97 yards and scoring two touchdowns in Clemson’s 31-14 victory over Florida State.
One of his touchdowns was a 28-yard scamper after a long punt return by Ray-Ray McCloud. He also had a 25-yard run in the fourth quarter, setting up his own 1-yard touchdown that sealed the Tigers’ victory. The freshman also had one catch for 16 yards.
After the game, Etienne spoke about his afternoon and how he has embraced being a fan favorite.
