Helmet Stickers: No. 2 Clemson 61, The Citadel 3

Following Clemson’s 61-3 onslaught of The Citadel in Death Valley on Saturday, The Clemson Insider gave out helmet stickers to players with impressive individual performances in the win.

Tee Higgins

The freshman wide receiver showed flashes of greatness on Saturday. Higgins led the Tigers in receiving with six catches for 178 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Higgins had several outstanding catches including a one-handed catch on the sideline and a tipped ball he hauled in for a diving touchdown reception. 

Dorian O’Daniel 

O’Daniel played like himself against the triple-option, and while he was in the game, he was a nightmare for the Bulldogs.

O’Daniel finished the game with five tackles in his final contest in Memorial Stadium. In an emotional farewell game, he provided a boost to his team despite the lack of plays coming his way form the opponent.

Travis Etienne

While the freshman running backed finished with a modest 62 yards, Saturday’s game was a big deal for the young star. Etienne finished with eight carries for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Etienne has now reached the end zone 11 times this season, surpassing C.J. Spiller for the most rushing touchdowns by a freshman running back in Clemson history

Deon Cain

After a few dropped passed in recent games, Cain seemed to return to his normal self with an excellent receiving day. The junior wide out finished the day with 140 yards on five catches and one touchdown of 53 yards.

James Skalski

The sophomore linebacker got his first start in a Clemson uniform on Saturday and looked impressive filling in for Tre Lamar. Skalski led the defense in tackles with nine, had a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurr
