COLUMBIA, S.C. — Third-ranked Clemson continues to roll against No. 24 South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Freshman running back Travis Etienne ran for a 5-yard touchdown with 2:47 left in the third quarter, widening Clemson’s substantial lead to 34-0.
The score capped a 13-play, 69-yard drive that lasted 6:09. A 13-yard run by Kelly Bryant on fourth-and-7 from the Gamecocks’ 29-yard line extended the drive for Clemson and set up Etienne’s touchdown.
On the very first offensive play of the third quarter, Hunter Renfrow made it a 27-0 game after he caught a pass and juked his way through the South Carolina defense for a 61-yard touchdown.
