Clemson offers rising Ohio OL

Sophomore offensive lineman Paris Johnson Jr. reported an offer from Clemson on Monday via social media.

The class of 2020 tackle hails from Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier High, the same school that Clemson redshirt freshman offensive lineman Matt Bockhorst attended.

Johnson’s stock is rising, as the 6-foot-7, 260-pounder has also picked up offers from Michigan State, Toledo and Cincinnati of late to go along with an early offer from Rutgers.

This season, Johnson made visits to Michigan State, Cincinnati, Toledo and Indiana.

Johnson recently received an invitation to the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl national combine. He is the son of former Michigan State graduate assistant Paris Johnson.
