Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney and Alabama head coach Nick Saban shared their initial thoughts on the third-straight matchup between the Tigers and Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff.
Clemson, the No. 1 seed in the CFP, will play No. 4 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day in New Orleans. The two teams have met in the national championship game the last two years with each winning classic games.
Swinney joked this past Thursday that he couldn’t seem to shake his alma mater, which brought a rare smile to Saban’s face.
