Clemson verbal commitment Marlin Lane, one of the top running backs in the nation, is doing a diary with TheClemsonInsider.com.  In this edition Marlin discusses the recent commitment of Mike Bellamy to Clemson, his summer school plans and much more!

We finished school today. I am just chillin at my mom’s house.

I was planning to come up to Clemson for the camp. Something came up with one of my coaches so he can’t take me. I was upset about that. I want to get back up there. I am going to try to come up some weekend later this summer.

It feels like not my last day of school because I am going to take four core classes over the summer so I can graduate in December. I want to enroll in January. I want to get a head start and get on up there. I start summer school next Monday.

I haven’t talked to Mike Bellamy yet. I hope to get on the phone with him one of these days. We haven’t really run into each other. All I know is he is a talented back like me.

I am still solid with Clemson. I am not going to back out because another running back committed. I believe we can both be explosive out of the backfield. I think we can make the defense blow their minds.

If you have talented player and you have knowledge they will put you on the field. They have shown they use both of the backs at Clemson and share the load.

It is going good. Now that school is out. I am doing my summer school online. I will workout Monday to Saturday three times a week. I don’t get tired. I am like the energizer bunny.
