One of the most sought after receivers in the country, Charone Peake, camped at Clemson this week. The 4-star receiver is seriously considering Clemson.
“My relationship with the coaches and players at Clemson is great, they have a lot of fans there, and I feel real comfortable when I am there,” said Peake.
The prize recruit talks frequently with the Clemson coaching staff and says he has a good relationship with Coach Scott who he talks to weekly. Those relationships grew stronger this week as he camped at Clemson.
The 6’3” 185 lbs. receiver from Dorman High School is considered one of the best players from South Carolina and will announce where he intends to go to school before the upcoming football season.
Charone says his top schools are currently Clemson, Florida, Southern Cal, North Carolina and Georgia. Florida and Clemson are the two teams to beat right now.
How will the Dorman standout make his final selection?
“I will pick a school where I feel comfortable and where I have a good relationship with the head coach and the receivers coach,” replied Peake.
What is it like to be one of the nation’s top receivers?
“It is great, but now I got to play like I’m a top receiver,” said Peake.
