Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney reacted Wednesday morning to Kyle Parker’s decision to return to play football.
“Someone once said there is something in those hills at Clemson. At the end of the day, whatever is in those hills was too much for Kyle Parker to turn down,” said Swinney.
The return of Parker is key to the Tiger’s chance to return to the ACC Championship.
“We are very excited to have Kyle back. Whenever you have a returning starter at quarterback who led you to the Atlantic Division title, that is a real plus for your team. He is dynamic athlete who brings a lot of positives to our offense.
Kyle called coach Swinney just after midnight to give him the good news.
“When I talked with him late last night, he was excited to get back and get started.”
