Minute with Marlin

By Marlin Lane.

Clemson verbal commitment Marlin Lane, one of the top running backs in the nation, is doing a diary with TheClemsonInsider.com. In this edition Marlin discusses whether he will play his senior season, the commitment of Cortez Davis and much more.

My rehab is going good. I have been working hard this summer.

My dad is trying to talk be into sitting out my senior season. He doesn’t want me to get hurt again and he wants me to be fully ready when I get to Clemson.

I need to talk to the Clemson coaches to get their input. We haven’t really discussed it yet.

It is tough. I really want to play so me and my dad are going back and forth on it. We should have a decision soon.

I am really glad to have Cortez back with Clemson. I knew he was going to come back.

It was good to see Grady this summer. I got to workout for a week with Grady Jarrett this summer. He is really powerful. He had to leave to go back home.
