Clemson, SC—Former Clemson All-American Ben Martin took just two professional events to gain his first victory.   The recent Clemson graduate won the E-Golf tour’s Forest Oaks Classic at Forest Oaks Country Club in High Point, NC on Saturday after a playoff with Brent Munson.


Martin birdied three of the last four holes on Saturday to finish with a 67 and  20 under par 268 for the four days.  He was tied with Munson, a former All-American at North Alabama was the Division II National Player of the Year.   Martin then won the playoff on the second hole.


Martin finished with rounds of 65-69-67-67 for his 268 total and won $34,900.  He finished 11th in his first E-Golf Professional event last week.
