By Shaq Anthony.

I just got back from Mexico yesterday. We went down to Cancun. It was a really good trip. There were 14 of us that went down. It was a good time.

Our first practice is tomorrow morning at 7:30. I am ready to get the show on the road. I feel good about our team.

We went down to the Florida 7-on-7 and did well. We went 8-2. That was a national tournament so it makes you feel pretty good to only lose two games. We are ready to put it all together and put it in motion.

I talked to coach Scott last week. We talked about Clemson getting started. He was excited about their season, especially with Kyle announcing he is coming back. He wished me a happy birthday, and we talked about my season.

I plan to get over to practice at Clemson sometime next week. I don’t think I can make it next Saturday, but I will get over there the next Saturday.

It is finally football season. I am ready to get it rolling. I want to be the best I can for my team. I am really looking forward to it. We have been talking together as captains about keeping the team together so we can be our best.
