Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media following Monday morning’s practice, the first of two for the day. Coach Swinney and the Tigers will return to the field Monday evening.
Dabo said he flew and met with DaQuan Bowers and his family last night. He said that Bowers had been able to spend the night with his father at the hospital the night before he passed.
Coach Swinney said he wasn’t sure when DaQuan would be back, but that his extended Clemson family would be waiting to help him when he returns.
Two defensive backs received praise from Dabo after practice. Xavier Brewer and Spencer Adams were both singled out with praise. Dabo said both had made major improvements since last season.
Coach Swinney was eager to see how his team performs in their first scrimmage on Tuesday. He looked forward to seeing which players will make a move for more playing time.
